It flew bitches. It freaking flew! FYP is over. But thank God, and a few good people who stood by me when i thought my project was gonna be gone for good.

We are all meant for great things. That kid in the next block who goes home and introvert comes out with an amazing find in the coming years that will stun the world. That bathroom singer whose voice never leaves the bathroom may sing to inspire in the future. The soldier who does not want to fight a war but realises in the future that he was one of the many heroes that made things possible. The girl who loves to plant flowers in her backyard one day may be planting that many trees to save the environment.

Someday, somehow.

What if someone comes up to you and gives you a key? The same key that can open the doors of greatness, can also open the doors of darkness?

Someone today told me that i can do great things, if i press on. That even though 2009 has been a terrible year, 2010 is just a few days away, and soon everything will be in the past.

Maybe if i took a leap of faith… And maybe if i breathed deeper.

I should pack things up, clear things away and say goodbye to the things i’ll never see again.

It’s the end of MSTs. Though it didnt feel like it, we’ve completed 6 papers. Midnight oils were burnt through the previous weeks due to alot of random and unforseen crap. So it’s over for now, and everything that revolves around projects resume tomorrow.

But it doesn’t feel like a joyous occasion that MSTs are over. In fact i’m feeling quite a bit of misery.

I’ve met an awesome friend lately and we seem to able to talk anything – basically, anything – under the sun, stars and moon.

This week has been really reflective. Sometimes you feel so powerless and helpless to your surroundings. And all that you can really do is to take the brunt of it all. Sometimes you feel like you’re fighting a lone battle where you’re the only soldier on the field against a 100. Sometimes you feel like taking a gamble but the odds are stacked high against you. Sometimes you feel like not laughing but you do because everything else around you is just ironic… as you.

They say that Claus is coming to town but really, who is he? Can he grant me three wishes? Can he give me what i want?

MSTs are coming, and hell’s gonna break loose. Almost all nighters and crazily immense amount of information. 6 papers. Seriously, who even planned the modules to have 6 papers over the span of 4 days? It just doesn’t make sense – good sense.
