All For Love
Album: Look To You

Verse 1
All for love a Father gave
For only love could make a way
All for love the heavens cried
For love was crucified

Pre Chorus
Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have
You heard me pray
Draw near to me

Chorus
Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You
Let me sing all for love

Verse 2
I will join the angel song
Ever holy is the Lord
King of Glory
King of all

Pre Chorus
Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me

Chorus
Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You (x2)

Bridge
All for a love a Saviour prayed
Abba Father have Your way
Though they know not what they do
Let the Cross draw man to You

Chorus
Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You (x2)

Somethings in this world are just too beautiful to describe. Somethings like this song. I saw a video link on Norman’s wall on Facebook and you’ve got no idea how touching it can get. I will post it up tomorrow because it’s something that is worth sharing.

And i miss my girl alot.

(can i tell you a secret?)

i didnt think so.

These days i’ve been listening to really emo music by Bach, Mozart and my friend Beethoven. Somehow everything seems much clearer when i listen to their music. Then i really wonder how music has really changed the past few centuries. If you’d allow me, let me share Chopin’s Nocturne in F minor Op 55 1st movement

I’ve been wanting to say lots of things quite recently. But i never quite made it, or never quite gotten the chance to. Since it’s the holidays, i should go visit the beach tomorrow and write out all my troubles on a piece of paper and bury it in the sand.

I want to do more than just going to school. It’s the little ironies that really make me feel frustrated and make me feel that i never will quite make the mark. I love math but i really suck in it. I find some modules fun, but i never get around doing the tutorials or study properly. I understand that some modules really piss people off, but i get an A. Results are next week and quite honestly it’s a love-hate situation now. As much as i’m dying to know the results another part of myself is saying that i won’t like it at all.

Final Year Project is coming along fine but everyone’s (applies to other groups) got their individual insecurities. We may be having fun sometimes but sometimes when we see something that reminds us of FYP we’ll panic in our hearts because everyone’s thinking of something and no one wants anything to not work out. Everyone crosses their fingers hoping that plans wouldn’t be screwed up and things will go smoothly. Everyone just hopes and tries their best, but sometimes shit happens and everything just goes haywire.

Not that anything bad has happened, but just a thought.

The gf has been away for a week now, and every now and then i’ll see something that will reminds me of her. That cute little dress behind a glass wall on display. Those multicoloured hairbands. Really kawaii necklaces and stuff. Maybe i should be like a little kid and close my eyes and imagine.

I’ve been quite mean to my family members these days. I’m sorry. I fucked up, i know.

Kiss me out of the bearded barley.
Nightly, beside the green, green grass.
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step.
You wear those shoes and i will wear that dress.

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight.
Lead me out on the moonlit floor.
Lift your open hand.
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance,
Silver moon’s sparkling.
So kiss me.

Kiss me down by the broken tree house.
Swing me high upon its hanging tire.
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat.
We’ll take the trail marked on your father’s map.

Kiss me – Sixpence None the Richer

Spent the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year doing my GEMs portfolio which took up plenty of time, but i guess it’s a sigh of relief nonetheless it’s over and done with.

And i bought a really precarious looking water gun to repel occasional crazy ass fighting cats in front of my house which i can spray with a barrage (it’s really quite small actually) of water at. It costs only $1.20 and it damn well does the job. And seeing those kitties scurrying is a cute sight, really… And im not animal-abusing or whatever crap you call that. Those cats get injured and i’ve to feed them milk. And if you do the math…

Cost of Water Gun < Cost of Milk.

Either way, school resumes tomorrow with the dreadful thought that exams is just a swanky cool 3 weeks away (argh! wthomgbbq!) So good fortune to us all.

Happy New Year.

23 Degrees and raining.

December 8, 2008

On a cold cold afternoon day like this, nothing else could be better than to just stay at home, making Christmas cards, pimping out my room, playing a little bit of guitar and… Finish up some of my humungous load of holiday assignments. Not the least bit fun i tell you.

So i went to the Philharmonic Winds concert last night with Dan, KK and JL, as a desperate attempt to get some marks for our elective music module which seems so insanely hard to score. Nonetheless, the concert was pretty good to the point i fell asleep in between the second movement (It was a good relaxation process. Really!). We left during the intermission to grab a bite at Carl’s Junior and decided not to go back for the latter half of the concert! Muahaha.

So, i’ll see you when i do.

The coolest song ever

Disclaimer: Before you actually do click play, trust me, it’s actually a really cool song-video. Yeah.

September showers

October 23, 2008

Just like any other slow moving day (except today’s a wet wet day! rain!) today’s not an exception. For the consoling fact that hey, our lessons in the morning ended early and we had spare time all the way till 1pm to do whatever we want. And visited the library we did!

So apart from borrowing some random books on flight (just for random info!) we checked out the CD sections as well. And i borrowed…

For the typical stereotype who wants to know a day in a life of  an SP student, look below. Sleeping in class/lectures/on a table/while eating/while standing is common, but this is something new for a start. And it’s kind of amusing in a way because it makes you wonder if they’re actually studying/researching (hence the books lying around… and on a face?) or sleeping.

Sleepy students on a sleepy day in the sleepy SP library

And on a harder side of things. Assignments and projects… Sigh. Need i say more?
